When it tends to be a member of /b/, the bowels of the internet, the place known as the Internet Hate Machine in which no prank goes too far and cross the boundaries of bringing flame wars into real life.



AT&T has learned that most valuable of lessons.

For reasons that are still unclear AT&T had decided to block the /b/ and another channel from it's AT&T broadband customers. ...for a period of 12 hours before they quickly fixed it. They said it was done because of either DDos attacks against 4chan or because DDos attacks where coming from 4chan... Either way, they fucked up, badly.

Within hours tens of thousands of customer complaint calls were made and plans of attacks were in the works.



The first of which was the digg article from CNN iReport in which it stated that the CEO Randall Stephenson of AT&T was found dead outside his home due to a cocaine overdose after partying all night with male strippers. The Digg on the article is funny because people are talking about how they will miss him and how they are dumping their stock. It's hard to say if these are trolls or just naive people who believed the article.
