The Next Bailout!!!
This is one bailout that I whole-heartedly support. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 (write to Barack Obama), 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, 22,<---That last one I commented on. ;d
Imagine people, this can save the government billions of dollars. How many people are defaulting on their mortgage because of their student loan debt?!!!
The movement has begun!!
Let our cries be heard from capital hill! FREE US FROM THE COST OF EDUCATION!!
It is not my fault that our business tanked, my mother had her identity stolen, we got hit by a fucking hurricane and I wasn't allowed to work off-campus to pay for my education. I did not want this debt. My mother swore to me that she would help me pay it back. And each year I needed more money to pay for rising tuition costs, books and my dorm rent.
Education is the most important factor to get a better job but a lot of us are turning away certain low profit jobs because we need to pay back the damn student loans.
You want to know how I plan to pay mine back? I'm taking out bigger loans and hoarding the extra cash. I'm also thinking of 'staying' in school at least part-time to keep putting it off. Mom then plans on letting me use her life insurance policy (does she have one yet?) to pay off the enormous debt I have (with the 6-8% interest it will be enough debt to pay a house). I didn't go and rack up a fucking credit card with wild purchases. All I did was borrow money to pay for my education and now I will be stuck paying off this debt.
If to stimulate the economy we are bailing out banks and businesses in the billions of dollars then why not have the government pay off our student loans?! More people could keep their cars and houses if they didn't have to worry about defaulting on their student loans. A house can be foreclosed on, a car can be repossessed, but only death will erase student loan debt not even bankruptcy will help. Not unless you are dying or unable to work (physically unable and not unable because you were fired or laid-off).
Give me my fucking bail-out if you are going to bail out Big Business!
