...is there a conspiracy?
You know this has been a really bad week for us.
John dying, the IRS deadline coming closer, Adam being forced to work on his days off (he pulled a 12 hour shift today) and now my glasses are broke. I had to tape them!
Now, just an hour ago my wireless internet went all buggy. All of a sudden at about 12:30am nothing wanted to do anything. This is about 30 seconds AFTER I clicked to submit an assignment that was due today (it still has a 11: something timestamp so I'm okay). The absolutely weirdest thing was that my isp's addy worked fine. I did a speedtest and I was getting 900-1010kbps and their website was working absolutely dandy. In fact it was rocket fast. Anything that was on their network addy worked damn fine.
Everything else, nada. Even trying the dial-up was buggy.
Now that I finally got my mom's pc hooked up a router I used hers to do my fixit experiments on. Even the last resort of turning off the pc, router, and wireless box didn't work!
So I e-mailed them. ...they asked for my name, username, phone addy and it was only I hit send that I realized that I don't have a username through them...oops. And then I noticed that my messenger signed in on my mom's pc...odd. I thought the net wasn't working. So I typed in yahoo and viola everything is working now.
Which is good...because for a while there I thought my ISP was denying me service *coughmangadlcough* but the stuff I do online shouldn't catch anyones radar...but still in the wake of the Christopher Handley arrest and Patriot Act and recession and all that shit my lonegunmen conspiracy panic was hitting me. Besides...with the way things are now that's just what we need.
So things are cool now...but still what the hell causes that to happen?
Btw, I got me a twitter of course it's akuma_river. I think that's my stage name or something. I still need to think up a writing puseduem for that Helium freelance thing. I was thinking of using my first name and middle name (I have a goregous name)...but then again I was thinking that it would be cool to just be known by one name and my name is pretty and rare.
It's just that...it's business-like and I like my nickname too.
