gay marriage

So last week I was watching Boston Legal and a comment was made that nearly every nation in NATO accepts gays in the military, I was also curious about Gay Marriage.

So I went to Wiki to see for myself.

Here are the Stats.

Tattoos & Knitting...

Found this article on MSNBC about growing trends in society. The fastest growing groups of videogamers is moms over 45. :D

What do tattoos and knitting say about the U.S.?

On a side note, when I was mentioning this to my mom and specifically this part:
“A society that tolerates people working with different hands is also likely to tolerate a lot of other freedoms.” While a slight majority of Americans still oppose gay marriage, a whopping 88 percent believe gays should have equal rights in the workplace.

My mom mentioned something to me, that just radically pissed me off and made me sick.

T.J. is technically a step-step-cousin of mine, he's my step-father's step-nephew. He's in the Navy. He was telling my step-father last night at the hospital (since his step-father's in the hospital in the ICU (and the whole family is there)), that when he was out (shipped out) they had a guy who they thought was gay. So during a football game, one of the "boys" threw the football up high. The kid caught the football and went over ship.

The ships won't stop to pick up people who fall overboard, so the kid is dead.

They basically set up a murder of a fellow naval person all because they thought he might be gay.

Nothing is going to be done about it either. No one will confess or fuss-up to who did it. This happens all the time. Just another hazard of being in the military, someone deciding to murder you because they don't like you.

My mom was telling me about when my uncle (who was also in the Navy) was drafted during Vietnam about how he would stay in the "nest" to keep away from the "boys" who would tease, torment, or set up others to get into "accidents."

I then went off on how the whole problem about male homosexuality is about them being compared to women and the "woman's place" in sexual roles.

It pisses me off.

Everything all ties back to society's issues with women and their "natural" place in society and their roles as sexual objects.

Men can rape other men and still consider themselves as not-gay, but the one being rape is gay (because he is in the woman's place sexually).

A woman can be raped and expected to deal with it. But a Man can't even face the fear of de-maned by being raped. (Most males who are raped (and who consider themselves as straight) afterwards kill themselves).

A gay man can be raped, and it can be thought of as fine, since he's already gay.

A gay woman can be raped, and it can be thought of as fine, because she had a "real man" show her how a woman is supposed to be...

A woman can be raped, and it can be thought of as fine, because she probably instigated it since woman are "sexual objects" and males are weak to them...

This seriously pisses me off. I am sick to death of society's thoughts on females and homosexuals...and people perpetrate it all the time and don't even realise what they are doing...

I'm going to go read some gay porn. That at least makes me feel better.
